United FETCH is making waves as it arrives in Germany, to be exclusively used by new restaurant OHANA. Opening in Hamburg this Winter, the new Hawaiian inspired eatery will be using only FETCH for its ordering platform – bringing a taste of aloha to the palm of your hand.
Using the FETCH mobile ordering and payment solution, you’ll be able to order one of their home-made ice teas, fresh pressed juice and Kona coffee, or relax in the surf shack with a craft beer and plate of Cajun soul food. FETCH’s unique geo-location technology means that the OHANA team will easily be able to locate customers and fetch their food and drink for them – no table number needed.
Founded by POS8 co-founders Jason Jefferys and Julian Dabbs, FETCH utilises their impressive hospitality technology pedigree with Jason Jefferys being the original founder of iRiS Software Systems, a guest facing hotel technology platform, some 10 years ago. Julian Dabb’s is FETCH’s CTO and has a background in product in ecommerce, payments and integrations including working in APAC for Micros-Fidelio and Oracle.
Jason Jefferys, CEO * Co-Founder of FETCH said:
“OHANA is an exciting concept and brand which we are proud to have been appointed the sole chosen partner for its food and drink ordering. Service is going to be key to their success and freeing up time for the waiting staff is going to help make that easier. Plus, table turnaround will be quicker with no having to wait to pay the bill.”
Behind OHANA is international hospitality professional Gilles Yves Gohlke, who grew up in Germany before moving to Australia. Living down to earth and relaxing in Byron Bays surfer lifestyle gave him the inspiration. He says:
“We are excited to partner with FETCH and have decided to make this a core part of our offering. By receiving all our orders through the FETCH app, we will be able to provide a higher quality service, freeing up our servers to look after our customers and do what they do best, offer hospitality. The exclusive location technology also enables us to better serve customers, exceed their expectations and serve more covers, given that the time savings in order taking and table searching are likely to be considerable. “
OHANA is just the first of F&B sign ups outside of the UK; with its intelligent geo-location technology and time saving aspect, FETCH is evolving the way we eat out.
OHANA is a new 750 cover restaurant launching in Hamburg in Autumn 2020. Aiming to bring some R&R to the city, Owner Gilles Yves Gohlke has created an oasis offering healthy, fresh and funky food paired with juiecs and smoothies, craft beers and wines, plus cocktails and coffee.
